Behind the Scenes of Say Cheese
Go inside the production of Say Cheese, the RIT student-made, grand-prize winner of the 2022 Coca-Cola Refreshing Films program
Say Cheese was a collaborative effort between students, faculty and staff in RIT's School of Film and Animation and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. The project, conceived and led by director Anna McClanahan '24 production option (film and animation BFA) and producer Gabriel Ponte-Fleary (film and animation MFA), featured a cast and crew that was a mix of hearing and deaf and hard of hearing. The film screened on more than 10,000 screens in Cinemark and AMC theaters.
