California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo Expressive Lettering Workshops
I was fortunate to be able to spend my Faculty Development Leave from RIT in Winter 2013 as a Designer in Residence at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
While I was there, I taught three workshops in Expressive Lettering techniques. The first two were for different sections of Typography courses, and the third was for students who had taken the first one and wanted to explore more techniques for self-directed projects.
I also helped teach two sections of Typography and the student projects from those courses are in my student work area.
This was such a wonderful experience. It was a highlight of my teaching career and my life.
