Editorial Design / GRDE 418 with Graphic Designers and Illustrators
This course includes fourth year graphic designers and third and fourth year illustrators working on teams to write articles and create spreads for magazines. Students may choose to write on a topic of their choice, as long as they are able to take a clear editorial stance.
2022 spring semester, Illustration Professor Bob Dorsey and I worked with interdisciplinary teams to create three editorial projects. This was a lively and collaborative class!
2021 spring semester, Illustration Professor Bob Dorsey and I were joined by guest critics Doug Chayka and Ryan Moore, Illustration and Graphic Design alumni. Their professional experience raised the bar of the class, and it was a great group!
