Experiential design focuses on exploring ways to improve how people interact with the natural and built environment. Projects include exhibition, display, wayfinding, signage, and information design. The final project for this class was to curate and create a year-long exhibition for the Wallace Center at RIT scheduled to open in fall 2024. The exhibition is titled: CITY OF CONTRAST/CAMPUS OF CONTRAST…Revisiting 150 Years of Artistic Achievement at RIT. This exhibition includes work that was originally curated by CAD Dean and Professor Emeritus Stan Witmeyer in the 1960’s. This was a fun collaboration between University Archivist Elizabeth Call, Museum Studies Lecturer John Monaco and his Museum Studies class, and the Experiential Design class.
