Packaging Design / GRDE 431 Seventh Generation and ABVI Competitions

The first project was with our great sponsor, ABVI. The challenge to student teams was to create inclusive packaging for Wegmans Dish Soap, and explore ways in which it could be made easier for everyone to identify, select, use and dispose of with sustainability in mind. Each of the 7 teams had a mentor from ABVI to assist in the design process. The final presentations were at ABVI with clients and Wegmans buyers testing the products.This was a very worthwhile and thought-provoking learning experience for everyone.

The second project was sponsored by Seventh Generation. The challenge in this competition was to create cleaning concepts to appeal to millennials.
As always, the 5 teams were concerned with inclusive considerations, shelf impact, brand consistency, selection of materials and processes, sustainability,
and end of life considerations.

All participants signed non-disclosure agreements, so work produced cannot be reproduced for public viewing.
