A unique community collaboration among Saunders College of Business, Junior Achievement and local elementary schools introduces young minds to business, economics and free enterprise through discussions, hands-on activities and video lessons.

As The Benjamin Forman Collaborative Research Professorship, Victor Perotti acts as a facilitator for research alliances that benefit students and faculty that find value in building a portfolio around unique interdisciplinary partnerships. 

Sandy Wu, third-year management information systems student, and the other officers in Women in Business (WIB) club plan to travel to the Silicon Valley and San Francisco area to visit companies, including Google, from Feb. 20 to Feb. 24.

A team of three computer engineering majors has developed a prototype for an emergency mass notification clock, which won the top prize and $5,000 in RIT’s first STEAM competition, sponsored by RIT’s Center for Public Safety Initiatives.

Rochester Institute of Technology students and faculty from various disciplines put their creative problem-solving skills to good use earlier this month. Working collaboratively, they examined challenges faced by client organizations and then presented conceptual solutions to them during a two-day event.
