Alumni awarded highest rating for snowboard
Former roommates Zhenya Grinshteyn ’09 and Ben Beisler ’10 built a company out of building custom snowboards. The duo’s company, Empire Grown, was recognized for producing one of the best snowboards for 2017, according to the online publication Board Insiders. -

Business club hosts ice skating fundraiser
RIT’s Women in Business club hopes to raise $500 to help send a Make-A-Wish child to Disney World. The club is offering ice skating from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Ritter Arena. Admission is $5 and includes skate rental, snacks and submarine sandwiches. -

RIT’s Saunders College of Business is now home to the REDCOM Active Learning Collaboratory and the Business Analytics Lab. The spaces enable faculty to implement learning activities that promote student engagement and peer-based learning. -
