On this Cyber Monday, new research co-authored by Ali Tosyali and Gijs Overgoor, assistant professors in the Department of MIS, Marketing, and Analytics at RIT’s Saunders College of Business, provides one method for searching out five-star fakes on Amazon.

As a teenager growing up, Edwin N. Torres remembers traveling and becoming “fascinated by the possibility of hoteliers transforming a place into an experience.” That curiosity later developed into a passion, which Torres brought to RIT in July when he became chair and associate professor for the Department of International Hospitality and Service Innovation at Saunders College of Business.

Christine Jones, a third-year management information systems student from Inkster, Mich., was awarded the Doug Peacock Scholarship. The scholarship helps underrepresented students at RIT.
