    RIT offers Cybersecurity Bootcamp to help people get back to work and start new careers

    A new 15-week program at RIT is teaching people all the skills they need to start a new career in cybersecurity. Starting in July, learners can enroll in RIT’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp, an immersive hands-on training course that will prepare them for critical entry-level roles in the cybersecurity workforce. The program aims to help professionals from all backgrounds and abilities set themselves up to transition into an in-demand career.

    Tigers Helping Tigers fundraising event features performing artists

    RIT is hosting a virtual event to raise money for the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, Division of Diversity and Inclusion General Support Fund, and other funds that directly impact students. "Tigers Helping Tigers: An Event to Move Students Forward" will include pre-recorded performances from RIT students and student groups and will be streamed online.

    Years of expertise as an emergency manager and volunteer firefighter and EMT has allowed RIT alumnus Christopher Tarantino ’13 (business administration) to develop his training and consulting company. And as a result of COVID-19, his company is helping those in private and public sectors create plans to mitigate this public health crisis.
