Radius

RADIUS is an action manga set in a futuristic world where humanity, driven by technological advancement, relies on robots for labor and entertainment. In this world, the neoliberal colonial project has reached its most utopian conclusion –war has been replaced by entertainment, and power shifts through the bodies of those built to perform. At the center of the story is the Automata Fighting Championship (AFC), where two robotic combatants— Samir and Zahir—clash in a brutal battle watched by millions.
Through the spectacle and drama, RADIUS explores the complex relationships between robots and their human masters. Inspired by my experiences as a professional boxer, RADIUS highlights the commodification of the body in entertainment, using automata to mirror the intersections of class and the construction of Whiteness.
