Counseling Services Overview

Counseling and Psychological Services offers a variety of services to RIT students to promote the emotional health and well-being of the campus community, including:

Needs Assessment

All clinical services begin with a Needs Assessment to determine the most appropriate combination and level of service that is right for you.

Individual Counseling

Our office provides goal-focused individual counseling and psychotherapy services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student at our main office, as well as in embedded therapy locations across campus.

Group Support

Our office offers group therapy, workshops, and community care spaces to those seeking a unique opportunity to receive multiple perspectives, support, and encouragement from other students in a safe environment.

Urgent Care Services

If you need immediate assistance from our clinical staff, our Urgent Care Services are available to students on a walk-in basis.

Let's Chat

Connect with our professional counselors outside the formal counseling center with these confidential drop-in sessions.
