Bio

Dr. Mitchell completed her B.A. in Psychology at Nazareth University and her M.S. in Health Administration at Roberts Wesleyan University. Dr. Mitchell also earned her doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology at Roberts Wesleyan University. She has a wide range of clinical experience with individuals ranging from infants to 60 years+ in various settings including community based-mental health, OPWDD, K-12, college counseling centers, and foster care/department of human services. 

Dr. Mitchell is a relationally based practitioner with particular focus in psychodynamic and humanistic therapies, however, she is person-centered in her approach to working with each client. She aims to help her clients uncover past or present concerns or themes that may be impeding their growth and ability to accomplish their desired goals. 

Dr. Mitchell has extensive experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including significant life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, family dynamics, among many others. Her specialty areas include working with neurodiverse individuals (particularly individuals with Autism), BIPOC and international students, and spirituality. 

In her spare time, Dr. Mitchell enjoys reading, being out in nature, and spending time with her family.
