    Innovative alumni share vision at Imagine RIT Futurists Symposium

    A highlight of the Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival on May 1 features the virtual return of a collection of alumni who will explore the latest innovations in technology, art, and design. The Futurists Symposium is from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Zoom. Registration is now open.

    RIT’s VEX Robotics U team takes top placement in national competitions

    The RIT VEX U Robotics team placed third overall in its late March competition at the Purdue SIGBots Remote Skills Qualifier. It was the fourth event of the season and the team moved up to 12th among the 300 teams in the league that includes robots from the U.S., Canada, China, Puerto Rico, Morocco, Spain, and Mexico.

    As part of its ongoing efforts to engage students with the latest printing industry developments, RIT's Department of Graphic Media Science and Technology (GMST) recently sponsored a series of four presentations to the college community on automation in printing. The event was held on March 22, 2021, and coordinated and hosted by Dr. Barbara Birkett, the Paul and Louise Miller Endowed Chair.
