AWARE-AI: Workshop on Building a Foundation for Inclusive Research
The AWARE-AI NRT workshop on Building a Foundation for Inclusive Research is facilitated by Dr. Taj Smith, Director of Diversity Education.
Hosted by the AWARE-AI NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) Program, this workshop welcomes AWARE-AI trainees and other RIT graduate students. It will deepen understanding of an inclusive mindset to research in self-reflective scenarios exploring equity, microaggressions, imposter syndrome, epistemic violence, cultural relevance, etc.
