Deaf Culture Day at RMSC
RIT/NTID invites you to Deaf Culture Day at the Rochester Museum and Science Center 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 11, 2023.
Join us as we celebrate the Deaf Culture and STEM achievements with tabling from local Deaf community organizations. The event will feature a meet-and-greet with local deaf STEM professionals, a performance by NTID’s Sunshine 2.0, STEM-Tastic ASL storytelling and more.
Fourth-year students from RIT/NTID’s Bachelor of Science in Interpreting program will provide pro bono interpreting services throughout the museum. No registration is required to attend, and the event is open to public. All Deaf Culture Day events and activities are included with regular museum admission.
For professional or DeafBlind interpreting service requests, contact RMSC Guest Services at info@rmsc.org or 585.271.9511.
Visit RSMC for more information. Contact Brian Haak, event manager in NTID Office of External Affairs, at behoea@rit.edu with questions.
We hope to see you for this fun-filled event.
