RIT's interior design program welcomes alumna Brittney Herrera '03 (interior design) for a lecture titled "Inside the Design Industry: How to Thrive in Commercial Design." It is scheduled for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, in University Gallery. Free and open to the public. 

About Brittney Herrera

Brittney Herrera is the founder and creative director of Thunder Egg Collaborative. She is an award-winning interior designer of bespoke commercial and residential spaces.

With a career spanning coast to coast, Herrera is a trusted guide, delivering architectural projects of every scale, from intimate 800-square-foot ADUs to expansive 500,000-square-foot headquarters. Her collaborative approach has forged enduring client relationships with industry giants like Adidas, Amazon, Fidelity Investments, IBM, iRobot, and TripAdvisor. 

Beyond design, Herrera is committed to mentoring the next generation. She has served as a professor at Boston Architectural College and continues to provide leadership through industry organizations like IIDA New England, where she served as president as well as through extensive committee work.
