Additional Paid Day Off

Frequently Asked Questions

RIT recognizes the hard work and dedication our staff and faculty have put forth this academic year. This extra paid day off is administration’s way of saying "thank you" for all your efforts.

Whichever day you choose will be a day off with pay. This will not be counted towards your vacation time.  All employees will need to communicate with their supervisor to ensure there is appropriate coverage on campus before choosing your preferred date.

Supervisors of non-exempt staff will enter the number of regularly scheduled hours for that employee and select Approved with Pay when updating Kronos for that payroll cycle.

All RIT faculty and staff are eligible.
