Bio

Molly, who joined the RIT staff in 2022, comes to us from Mary's Place Refugee Outreach, where she served as the Program Director and Interim Executive Director. Before that, she served in the United States Peace Corps as a Community Economic Development Specialist in Quiindy, Paraguay. She’s held positions with Stony Brook University, Monroe County, City of Rochester, and the local delegation to the U.S. Senate, among others. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Stony Brook University, a Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) in Political Science in American and Comparative Politics from Stony Brook University, and was a partially accredited legal representative under the U.S. Department of Justice for the practice of immigration law, among many other certificates.

A Rochester native, Molly has a passion for encouraging Rochesterians to honor their civil rights & access legacy. She served as a contributor to REOC academic program retooling work groups, education access programing with the New York Immigration Council, as well as the Social Justice Committee at the Maplewood YMCA, and was a compensated consultant in the establishment of World Refuge Rochester. She loves language and is so excited to be adding ASL to her repertoire through her classes at NTID. Anyone who knows her well will tell you she loves D&D!
