One of my favorite experiences happened last semester was when I attended a meeting regarding information on DHSS capstone projects. I had the chance to meet with ten other DHSS students before the meeting started. We bonded over which classes and professors we love the most.
One of the most hilarious aspects is that we’ve all seen each other multiple times, whether it be in classes or somewhere else on campus, we had no idea that the others were in the same program as the majority of us transferred from different programs within RIT! Being at this meeting re-inspired me as to why I’m pursuing the DHSS program and this made me even more excited for my third year and the constant opportunities I’m being offered with being a Peer Navigator and being more involved with campus.
