Society for Italian Philosophy
Online registration to attend the annual meeting is required. (Registration is required but no registration fee is necessary if you plan to attend only the two keynote lectures and/or the memorial session on Gianni Vattimo, which are free and open to the public).
Registration Fee is mandatory for Program Speakers and Moderators and includes admission to the conference, name badge, conference material, and Thursday evening’s welcoming reception.
An optional dinner for program speakers and moderators at a local restaurant is planned for Friday evening, June 7, at 7:30 P.M. with a separate fee (advance reservation required; you may select this option during the registration process). The dinner location will be announced at the conference.

- Student (auditing): no fee, registration only
- Faculty/Independent Scholar/General Public (auditing): US $20
- Doctoral/Post-Doctoral Student (presenting/moderating): US $35
- Faculty (presenting/moderating): US $60
- Plenary session(s) only: no fee, registration only
Friday's evening dinner: US $65
After May 10, the following late registration fees will apply (online registration only; no registration possible at the conference site):
- Student (auditing): no fee, registration only
- Faculty/Independent Scholar/General Public (auditing): US $25
- Doctoral/Post-Doctoral Student (presenting/moderating): US $50
- Faculty (presenting/moderating): US $75
- Plenary session(s) only: no fee, registration only
Please note that, once paid, registration fees will not be refunded in case of subsequent inability to attend the conference. SIP is a small, non-profit society that does not impose any membership fee to be part of the association. The registration fee is fundamental to support the various aspects of running the conference (receptions, keynote speakers’ honoraria and travel arrangements, promotional material, etc.), the planning of and commitment to which is dependent on this fee.
