RIT hockey fans show their support at a recent game in the Gene Polisseni Center. The RIT Men’s Hockey team is hosting Robert Morris University Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. Friday is Star Wars Night with a meet and greet of your favorite characters pregame. Saturday is Hometown Heroes Night and all active duty and retired military members and first responders will receive one free ticket to the game.

Nishit Savla, a second-year graduate student in game design from Mumbai, received a haircut from William Hood of Epik Hair Studio at the Men's Health Fair on Nov. 9 in the SAU Fireside Lounge. The event kicked off Movember, men's health awareness month. Representatives offered information about health, samples, games and free haircuts.

Joe Williams, lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice, delivered remarks during a luncheon celebrating first-generation college students. The talk and luncheon, hosted by the Division of Diversity & Inclusion, commemorated the 52nd Anniversary of the Higher Education Amendments to the Higher Education Act of 1965.

NTID Performing Arts presents The Story of Beauty and the Beast, a dance and music adaptation conceived, directed and choreographed by Thomas Warfield and co-directed and choreographed by Nicole Hood Cruz. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9-11 and 2 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Robert F. Panara Theatre.

RIT Libraries staff and RIT student-athletes visited the school for the 10th annual Giant Read to serve as role models and help students get excited about reading. The staff and students read the book Amazing Tigers to nearly 65 first graders. At the end, each student received a book to help encourage further reading.
