The College of Science Student Activity Board (COSSAB), Concert Band, Birding Club, and Bioinformatics Club.
Why RIT and the College of Science?
I chose RIT for its easy access to undergraduate research opportunities, robust support for bioinformatics students, and co-op program. The large queer community on campus also made it feel like the right fit for me.
What is your advice for prospective college students?
Don’t be afraid to truly explore yourself! Being on your own will provide you with every opportunity to discover your personal and professional interests and truly grow, especially at RIT. If you can fight off the evils of imposter syndrome, you will grow so much.
