The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports active research participation by undergraduate students in the study areas funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Program Dates: June 6 - July 29, 2024
Deadline: March 1, 2024
Eligibility: All funded participants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents and all participants must be undergraduates (not have received a bachelor's degree) in the fall of 2024. Women, veterans, first-generation college students, and students from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
We will be accepting applications via the National Science Foundations Research Experiences for Undergraduate's website.
Program Benefits
- A stipend of $4800. Free apartment-style housing and meal plan will be provided if the program is held in person.
- Work closely with faculty on cutting-edge research projects.
- Participate in an "Ethics in Science" workshop.
- The opportunity to present your work at the 2025 Joint Mathematics Meetings in Seattle, WA.
