Narayan honored by Mathematical Association of America
Darren Narayan, professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences, is one of three recipients of the Mathematical Association of America’s (MAA) 2022 Deborah and Franklin Tepper Haimo Awards. The awards honor college or university professors who have been widely recognized as extraordinarily successful and whose teaching effectiveness has been shown to have had influence beyond their own institutions. The MAA recognized Narayan as a “bridge between the mathematics community and industry, as well as between students from underrepresented groups and research opportunities.”
