Newman, Wright organize biology education research conference

Dina Newman and Kate Wright, professors in the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences, organized the SABER East conference on biology education research May 29-31 at RIT. The Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research is the largest professional organization for biology education researchers, and this was the first regional meeting on the east coast. SABER East brought together undergraduate educators and discipline-based education researchers who are working to improve biology education in the U.S. and Canada.
