Sesquile joined AstraZeneca in 2019 and most recently has been part of the Global Early Immuno-Oncology (IO) and Portfolio team. During his time at AstraZeneca, Sesquile has successfully led commercial strategies supporting growth in China and the APAC region, as well as delivered product strategies across the IO portfolio.
Prior to AstraZeneca, Sesquile spend several years working in the U.S. policy sector, including a public position at the NIH and in private industry with the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). At BIO, Sesquile worked as Director of Science and Regulatory Affairs, leading policy, advocacy, and education initiatives supporting biopharmaceutical industry priorities.
Sesquile was an American Association for the Advance of Science Fellow, completed his postdoctoral studies at Harvard Medical School, has a Ph.D. and a Master of Science degree in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Rochester, and Bachelor of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
