Anne Punzi

Anne studied Media Communications at School of Visual Arts and received her BFA in Painting, and later an MST in Art Education, from RIT.  She has been teaching art at Penfield High School, Penfield, NY, while also serving as K-12 Art Department Chair.

Oil paint is her preferred medium. Photography, printmaking, bookmaking, and collage are frequent interests, by themselves or in combination. Her creative process emphasizes surface techniques, layering of media, a love of line and color. Thematic content based on the environment always lies beneath the surface.
