Peter A Blacksberg
Peter picked up a camera in 1967 and has rarely been seen without one. After graduating from RIT, he continued his passion for photography through several career changes. In 1981, he worked in Silicon Valley on one of the first artist-centric computer graphic systems. He returned to RIT in 2017 to produce Portraits of a Planet: Photographer in Space, the first large-scale photographic exhibition of NASA astronaut Donald Pettit, presented at University Gallery. Peter credits RIT with giving him the technical foundation which has enabled him to stay current as photography has evolved to digital capture, editing, and generative image creation.
