Vignelli Center for Design Studies

The Vignelli Center for Design Studies leads through practice and programs in the interpretation of quality design. We strive to inspire widespread recognition of how the artifacts we collect, preserve and understand broaden and enrich life. We do so as stewards of the legacy of Massimo and Lella Vignelli, who valued excellence, creativity and innovation.

Massimo and Lella Vignelli were committed to a generous and important initiative at RIT. As world-class designers with over fifty years of combined career success, the Vignellis always made education a high priority. As a result of their close collaboration with RIT and its design faculty and administration, RIT has established the Vignelli Center for Design Studies.
