William Keyser
From 1962 to 1997, William Keyser taught Furniture Design at the School for American Crafts. During that time he nurtured a legion of students who have been successful craftsmen, designers in industry, or teachers at leading centers for craft education. Keyser has received an NEA Craftsman’s Fellowship, has been named to the American Craft Council’s College of Fellows, has received The Furniture Society’s Award of Distinction and has been designated a Distinguished Alumnus of both Carnegie Mellon University and RIT. Keyser maintains a studio in Victor, NY creating furniture, sculpture and paintings.
