Grant Writers' Boot Camp 2022

The Grant Writers’ Boot Camp is comprised of two full day sessions focusing on persuasive writing and peer review.  The program covers the elements of a proposal and is designed around a seed funding request for proposal (RFP).  Faculty at varied levels of their research career and experience at funding agencies will explain what makes a winning proposal and how peer review works.  We will also have an external consultant that has a wealth of experience serving on proposal review panels and providing input to faculty on NSF CAREER submissions.

Returning this year - we are also offering optional 1 hour zoom sessions on Monday, January 17 following the Boot Camp program on a variety of topics.  They will be focused on Federal Agency Overviews and general topics such as budgeting, compliance, and General Q&A panel.  As part of the registration, we are asking you to identify possible sessions that may be of interest and also suggest additional topics or agencies you would like to see covered.  Attendance is optional but it will be an opportunity to ask additional questions or explore topics in more detail. Each session will be no more than 1 hour in length and will be recorded.  As we get closer to the program dates and based on registration feedback, we will release a final schedule of the session topics and times.
