What is the Worldbuilders World’s Fair?
An opportunity for members of the RIT community to share their creative work that relates to the construction of fictional worlds. This can include concept art, illustrations, physical artifacts, maps, timelines, genealogies, and anything dealing with characters and stories set in these fictional worlds. Some possibilities include:
- A map of a fictional world with different biomes, geographic features, and biomes;
- Detailed street maps or dioramas of cities, towns, and villages in the world;
- A brief overview describing the major features of the fictional world, including its speculative elements relating to magic or advanced technologies;
- A character profile of a character who lives in the fictional world;
- Physical artifacts such as artwork, jewelry, clothing, day-to-day accessories, tools, props, or anything else that exists in the fictional world;
- Posters, advertisements, propaganda, and other printed material that exists in the world;
- Whatever else you can imagine that fits in the space!
