Upstate New York Counselor Tour
The colleges and universities in Western New York are pleased to invite you to participate in the Colleges of Rochester Tour (CORT) Program. Join us during our fall season as we host you at some of the state’s finest colleges and universities in the Northeast.
Our tour (View the Tour Itinerary PDF), scheduled for Sunday, October 18 through Tuesday, October 20, 2020, will include stops at the following colleges and universities: Nazareth College, Rochester Institute of Technology, St. John Fisher College, and the University of Rochester. CORT will cover all expenses for overnight accommodations (guests will have their own rooms), meals, and transportation to all schools and up to $150 toward transportation to Rochester. The tour will be limited to 40 counselors. To indicate your interest in participating in the tour, you must:
- Complete the registration form below to be placed on the waitlist for the Fall 2020 program.
- Make your airline reservations to arrive at Rochester International Airport, Rochester, NY. Please arrive no later than 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 18. Please keep all receipts in order for us to refund up to $150 toward the airline ticket after completion of the CORT program (up to $150 will also be refunded to those that are driving to help toward gas expenses). Shuttle service from the Rochester International Airport will be provided by the Del Monte Hotel, where you will be staying.
- Plan to depart no earlier than 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20.

About the Tour
This five-day tour allows school counselors the opportunity to tour six colleges and universities in New York State. Throughout the journey, counselors will gain invaluable insights into each institution's academic programs, campus life, and the resources available to support students in their educational pursuits. During the tour, counselors will have the chance to engage with admissions officers, faculty members, and current students, learning about each institution's distinct culture and educational philosophy.
