Note: In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Julie (Zepke) Krug ’09 (CIAS) and Ken Krug ’10 (GCCIS) welcomed their first baby into the world. Victoria Lillian Krug was born on June 9th, healthy and vigorous. She already loves to watch hockey on TV!

Note: Dr. Kristen Willmott MS ’06 (CAST)) recently had a book published by Information Age Publishing. "Gender, Tenure and the Pursuit of Work-Life-Family Stability" is a timely work that may be of interest to anyone juggling work, home and family. Willmott has an MS from RIT and a PhD from the University of Rochester. She has several family ties to RIT, as her sister, brother and cousin are all alumni, and her husband, Benjamin Willmott, is the Operations Manager of Performing Arts in RIT’s College of Liberal Arts.

Note: September 5, 2020 - Rachel Herman ’13 (CAST) MS ’14 (CAST) and Spencer Crandell ’13 (KGCOE) were married in a small outdoor ceremony in front of a senior living facility, so that Rachel’s grandmother could be a part of the celebration. Rachel and Spencer met and began dating during their studies at RIT! Following their wedding, they adopted their new puppy, Penny!

It is a short, non-academic introduction to Systems Engineering, targeted to the general public of engineers and product designers, without prior systems engineering experience. Compact content, simple wording, and examples for each concept - these were my main objectives here (hopefully achieved). The book also introduces my I-CM (Interface-Component Model) method, to illustrate some of the discussed concepts and activities.
