Jordana Deutsch, a fourth-year industrial design student from Manasquan, N.J., created a wayfinding system that welcomes visitors to the Ganondagan State Historic Site and guides them through 569 acres of trails. -

Shehzil Malik ’14 (visual communication design) is a designer who has extensive experience as an advocate for social change. She believes in gender equality with every fiber of her being and hopes her work can help women around the world realize the power they have as individuals. -

RIT puts final wrap on successful NYC Design Week
Dozens of RIT students, faculty and staff left New York City exhausted yet inspired after the university’s most ambitious presence ever at NYCxDESIGN, the Big Apple’s sixth-annual celebration of design. Scores of visitors crowded into RIT’s seven exhibits and events showcased May 16 to 23. -
