RIT graduate programs are among the best in the nation, according to the U.S. News annual statistical survey of graduate programs. RIT master’s degree programs in engineering, business and fine arts feature in the U.S. News & World Report 2021 edition of Best Graduate Schools, released in March, including the first specialty ranking of the university’s business analytics master’s program.

A new collection of documentary photographs made by an RIT alumnus focuses on the American South. Late Harvest, by Forest McMullin ’77 (photography), captures the spirit and dignity of the rural South through photographs and individual stories.

Contemporary Greenland is the subject of a new collection of photographs and essays by RIT photography professor Denis Defibaugh, who spent more than a year on the island. North by Nuuk: Greenland after Rockwell Kent, published by RIT Press, documents scenes from daily life and from nature, such as an Inuit hunter and his sled dogs, stark landscapes and portraits of the people who live in remote communities.

The release event and exhibition for Draft, a publication annually executed by photography students, is set for April 3 at George Eastman Museum’s Peristyle Gallery. This year marks the 16th edition.
