RIT’s Saunders College of Business will welcome Kevin O’Leary, aka Mr. Wonderful, star of ABC’s Shark Tank, as the 11th J. Warren McClure Lecture Series keynote speaker on April 8. The virtual event is open to the general public and will feature a one-hour lecture followed by a brief Q&A.

Saunders College of Business was awarded a $4.7 million grant from New York state as part of the Higher Education Capital Matching Grant Program. The grant will support the planned major renovation and expansion to Max Lowenthal Hall, home of Saunders College, made possible by a transformational gift from serial entrepreneur and philanthropist E. Philip Saunders.

Saunders College of Business ranked 58th in the list of business schools in the nation by Poets&Quants, a leading resource for coverage of business education. Saunders College was recognized for placing high in employment outcomes for graduates, fueled by a strong cooperative education program and employment rates.

Two visionaries in the fields of advertising, marketing and communications have been named co-recipients of the 2020 Herbert W. Vanden Brul Entrepreneurial Award, presented by RIT’s Saunders College of Business. Sue Butler and Tracy Till are the first joint female recipients in the award’s 35-year history.

Saunders College of Business earned extended accreditation by the AACSB International, the premier accrediting organization for business schools worldwide.

Saunders College of Business hosts the 11th annual Power Your Potential Women’s Conference on Friday. The conference theme this year is “Embracing Our Voice and Leading Boldly,” and will be led by Karen Magnuson, Saunders College Executive in Residence and former executive editor at Rochester’s Democrat and Chronicle.
