Bio

Gary Behm is a senior tenured faculty member who has been recognized for his excellence in teaching, research and scholarship. He recently served as director of RIT/NTID’s Center on Access Technology Innovation Laboratory, and as an engineering lead for the faculty, researchers and students in the conceptualization, design, development, building and testing of engineering solutions that address the need of accessibility of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals primarily in the postsecondary educational environment.

    Deaf and hard-of-hearing RIT/NTID students will continue to benefit from enhanced educational and career opportunities in the environmental sciences, thanks to the extension of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the college and the Environmental Protection Agency.

    RIT/NTID names Jill Bradbury chair of performing arts department

    The Department of Performing Arts at NTID has named Jill Bradbury as chairperson and professor. Prior to her role, Bradbury was a member of the English department faculty at Gallaudet University. She also taught at RIT/NTID in both the Department of Liberal Studies and Department of Cultural and Creative Studies.
