Bio
Heather Eaggleston joined NTID in 2010. She is responsible for strategic cultivation and maintenance of Congressional and other governmental relationships in support of NTID’s federal agenda and appropriations, federal regulatory compliance, and federal reporting requirements, including NTID’s Annual Report. Previously, she worked as a government relations specialist for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, a serials and electronic collections coordinator at the Medical Sciences Library at Texas A&M University, and an editor of the Guinness Book of World Records while pursuing her graduate degree.
Ms. Eaggleston has a B.A. in English Literature and Women’s Studies from Southwestern University and an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Westminster (London, England).

The United Way of Greater Rochester has honored RIT with the “Unstoppable Award” for continuing to raise critical funds despite shutting down in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mission 2020 accomplished with help from the RIT family
RIT will help nourish a community that is meeting the many challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. More than $300,000, donated by members of the university during the United Way Campaign—Mission 2020—will go toward building a healthy community for all, providing educational opportunities for youth and to increase economic mobility for Rochester’s citizens.
