Institutional Assessment Framework
RIT’s Institutional Assessment Framework provides an overview of our core assessment processes and elements.
The effectiveness of the university relies on the contribution that each of its programs and services make toward achieving the goals of the institution. As such, all administrative units play a role in conducting institutional assessment. Institutional assessment is the systematic collection, review, and use of information about educational quality, undertaken for improving programs, services, student learning, and development. Institutional assessment is the process that supports the university’s answer to the overall institutional effectiveness question: how well are we achieving our mission and goals?
