Active Learning to Engage Students

While lecture has its place, both individual and cooperative active learning techniques have proven to increase attentiveness and retention, while deepening learning in classrooms, even those with over 100 students. During the hands-on workshop, you will experience many possibilities of active student-centered learning from the student’s perspective. We will also investigate solutions to common challenges of leading a large classroom.
