Assertive Communication
Join WE@RIT (Women in Engineering) as well as Assistant Director of Title IX and Clery Compliance, Darci Lane, in this interactive workshop focused on honing your assertive communication skills. Hopefully you never experience harassment or discrimination; but what if you do? In this presentation we will examine the most effective ways to handle such a situation, including workshopping responses to example scenarios. We will also cover available campus resources.
Snacks: make-your-own dirt cups and snackle boxes, while supplies last.
