Author Victor Luckerson Book Conversation

Victor Luckerson, a noted journalist who works to bring neglected black history to light, and author of 'Built From The Fire,' The Epic story of Tulsa's Greenwood District, America's Black Wall Street, will discuss the Tulsa Massacre of 1921 with students in Richard Newman’s Public History Class on April 5 at 10am in the Bamboo Room on the RIT Campus. Luckerson will also give a public talk about his book, which was named to the New York Times “Notable Books” list of 2023, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Rochester Central Library, 115 South Ave. Both events are free and open to the public. Interpreting Services will be available upon request.
