Big Read: NTID Kickoff event with Ilya Kaminsky at Gates Public Library
Gates Public Library is hosting the National Endowment of the Arts, Big Read:NTID project celebrating Deaf History Month, in collaboration with the Monroe County Library System and RIT/NTID. Author Ilya Kaminsky will be on hand at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 1, to read and discuss selections from his book, "Deaf Republic." A reception will follow with refreshments and book signing.
