Breaking Bread Special Edition: What is Democracy?
The purpose of this special edition of the Breaking Bread program is to respond to current social issues and to practice healthy ways of communicating through our differences. Unlike other offerings under Breaking Bread, this topic will be offered only once instead of over the course of weeks. A Socratic Circle method will be used to help facilitate interaction.
The topic to be explored is democracy. Participants will have an opportunity to explore definitions, ask questions, share their hopes for democracy and bring up alternatives to democracy.
Open to RIT faculty, staff, students and administrators.
