Catching Crypto: How Blockchain Analytics is Transforming the Fight Against Crime
Join us for an exciting afternoon focused on cryptocurrency-involved crimes and the use of blockchain analytics in criminal and national security investigations.
In an era where cryptocurrencies are becoming increasingly mainstream, understanding the intricacies of blockchain analytics is essential for law enforcement agencies at all levels. This event brings together representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, New York State Police, and blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis to share their expertise and highlight innovative strategies to tackle current and emerging threats. We will also discuss the importance of collaboration with academic institutions, like RIT, to develop new analytical tools for investigative efforts and create unique opportunities for trainings and hands-on experiences.
This College of Liberal Arts event is hosted by the ESL Global Cybersecurity Institute in collaboration with the College of Liberal Arts Center for Public Safety Initiatives and the Saunders College of Business Institute for Business, Government & Society.
