CHIPR (Cultural Heritage Imaging, Preservation, and Research) Chats
Welcome to CHIPR (Cultural Heritage Imaging Preservation and Research), where RIT students and faculty come together to share their research, new ideas, and encourage one another in interdisciplinary cultural heritage research! Do you have an idea for research? Would you like a different viewpoint on current research? Want to just share what's going on in your department or program? This is the community to build that in Brick City. Join us!
We begin our series on February 1, 2023 with Shani Avni from the Cary Collection, who will bring an item that we have imaged (the Book of Esther) and talk about how the multispectral imaging has helped her and others re-think the date of the object.
We meet every Wednesday from February 1 through April 19, 2023 from 12:30-1:00 pm in the Liberal Arts Building - either room 1251 or 1202.
Bring your coffee mug (or whatever you drink!) and join us.
