Cinco de Derby Cocktail Class and Food Pairing

Let's celebrate and cheer at the Lobozzo Alumni House with for our Cinco de Derby Cocktail Class & Food Pairing. This installment of the series blends the two festivities that fall on the same weekend: Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby. Join us from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to learn to make some Mexican and Derby themed cocktails that are sure to impress everyone you know.

During the class, you will be given two hours of instruction with time to mingle. Provided will be all of the ingredients and instructions to create three upscale cocktails along with three paired food samplings. Cocktails and food pairings include:

• Classic Mint Julep – a bourbon based cocktail, paired with a Trio of Tea Sandwiches:
  • Cucumber Cream Cheese
  • Pimento Cheese
  • Chicken Salad
• Pineapple Blueberry Margarita – A tequila based cocktail, paired with Brisket Street Corn Taco, finished with Jalapeno Lime Ranch.
• Kentucky Buck – a bourbon based cocktail, paired with Strawberry Tres Leches Cake Trifle.
