Deaf Culture Day at Frontier Field
Join us in cheering on the Rochester Red Wings--playing as the Rochester Plates--on Deaf Culture Day, Thursday, Sept. 2 at Frontier Field. Game time is 7:05 p.m., with pre-game ceremonies prior to the first pitch.
There will be interpreters, a ‘silent inning,’ and The Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America performed in sign language, along with other planned activities. The Red Wings, as they do every Thursday home game, will play as the Plates wearing American Sign Language jerseys. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off.
Tickets are now on sale. Use the code DEAFCULTURE for $2 off tickets.
