Abstract:
A graph G has several matrices associated with it: its adjacency matrix; its Laplacian matrix; its Laplacian matrix; and, its Seidel matrix. All of these are well-studied. We will look at graphs for which these matrices have a small number of distinct eigenvalues. We will see some of the classical theory of strongly regular graphs. The results of Haemers and Omidi on eigenvalues of the universal adjacency matrix of G will be discussed.
